I am an actor, writer and social justice activist. I'm originally from San Antonio, Texas but received my training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. After returning home I began writing my own original solo plays, Chicana Atheist, The AIDS Lady My Arab Fall and Carmen From Mexico.
I act both on stage and screen. I am also available for voice over acting. My solo shows are available for bookings in live theater spaces, conferences, universities and community centers. Please see my resumé for the details of my experience and skills.
Carmen from Mexico is a solo, multimedia play based on my mother’s childhood immigrant experience and shares her harrowing yet sometimes comical struggles in adapting to life in Texas. This original piece includes video projections, family photos, songs and live musical accompaniment.
